I have visited Thailand before but never been to Pattaya. I am planning to visit Thailand with my family including my 7 year old daughter and like to hire an independent driver to visit places, we will look after the hotels, meals etc.
Any suggestions? |

Well, I think you, Christopher, do not have to worry about hiring a driver, because there are a plenty of taxi drivers, and Song Taew for you to hire. You can ask them for a day trip to go to many places if you want to.
In the case of restaurants, if you would like to taste seafood, Moom Aroi would be one of interesting choices for you. There are lots of people recommending this restaurant, no matter they are expats or Thai. For other restaurants, I would suggest you to look at the section of restaurant directory instead. All of them are quite reputable restaurants, so just choose it depending on your type.
For the Hotels, almost 3-5 stars hotels are good and dependable. You can choose one from which area you want to stay, e.g. near Pattaya Cliff, near The beach, near walking street. You can Look at the page of hotel information for more detail.
Thank you for interesting in visiting Pattaya. |

Hi Sandy,
I'm not sure about the charge for hiring a cab. but if you want to go to Coral Island, you should go to "Koh Larn" page. there are water sports available at either Jomtien Beach or Tawaen Beach on Koh Larn (Coral Island).
Places recommended:
- Sanctury of truth
- Pattaya Hill and Big Buddha Temple
- Nong Nooch Tropical Garden
- Mini Siam
Hope it can help! |
