Wendy House is a guesthouse located in the famous shopping area of Bangkok, which is very close to MBK shopping center, Siam Center, Siam Paragon. The location of the guesthouse is in a small street (called Soi, in Thai) opposite side of National Stadium. In other words, the Soi is just right under the BTS Skytrain, National Stadium Station. Next to this Soi, there is a convenient store 7-11 (about 200 meters from the guesthouse). For food and restaurants, there are variety of them at MBK in the choices of fast-food restaurants, brand-name restaurants and food court on the sixth floor.
Wendy House is a moderate guest house in Bangkok. There are 38 rooms in a 4-floor building. On the ground floor, there are, next to the entrance, a lobby and a dining area. Next to the lobby is a resident area which is separated into two sides (one side probably are rooms for a single guest, and another are rooms for a couple). Before getting to the stairways, there is a book shelf for guests borrowing them (most of them are in English language). To get to a guest room, there are only stairs to use. Staffs of Wendy House would be an interesting factor for foreign visitors to stay in the guest house. This is because staffs at the counter are very polite, friendly, and fluent in English (especially the manager). They can also give very useful information and good suggestion for tourists. In this point, they often get complements from the guests those who were there as well.
For the room, in fact, it is ordinarily decorated and quite small (the double bed is a little bit smaller than standard size). However, facilities are fully provided. There are a TV, a fridge, a hair dryer, 2 bottles of water and free internet WiFi (pretty strong signal). Some of facilities have shown that they care about small details such as slippers for wearing in the room, a bottle opener, a small kettle, cups of tea and teaspoons (for guests to make their own coffee or tea in their room). In addition, there are also facilities in the bathroom such as 2 sets of a big towel and a small one, bars of soaps, packs of shampoos, a shower cap and cotton buds. At the room's door, there is only a door knob with a key (no keycard) and a larch inside.
For the weak points of Wendy house, firstly the room's size of this guesthouse might be too small for those who like more space. Apart from the size, TV has not many channels and there is only one electrical outlet at one spot of 2-hole slots (If a 3-pin plugs is necessary, the counter on the ground floor can provide an adapter for 3-hole slots with 100 Baht deposit and the money will be return after returning adapter). Another thing is, this 4-floor building has no elevator and stairs are quite narrow, so it might be difficult for those who come with the luggage staying on high floor.

- Reasons: Reasons: the location of this guesthouse is great because it is near MBK, BTS skytrain and Seven Eleven. Staffs are welcome and helpful. Although the room is quite small, all facilities in the room are adequate. However, this building has no elevator and quite narrow staircases, so it seem to be inconvenient to guests. Another weak point would be that guests need to be careful a little for walking in a small street in front of the guesthouse because there is no sidewalk. The room rate of this guesthouse are always included breakfast, even though some guest might not need it (the breakfast are buffet for breads, cereal, fruits, juices, and milk; guest can also choose a Thai style noodle or choices of fried eggs, scramble or soft boil eggs.
